Krone in Schopfheim

We have now ordered here for the second time, due to corona. No matter if service, friendliness, quality or taste. The Krone stands out from the rest of the restaurants in the area in every respect. Simply top class.

We got married here in 2011 and have always been eating here for our wedding anniversary ever since! We love the terrace to sit outside, the food is always delicious and the whole team is great! ❤️ Always a nice experience! ?

I had fresh from the sea and river. Read the Court did great. And for 27 euros (small) I expected a lot. But I was very disappointed. The salmon was dry for my feeling right, the sea bass too salty and the shrimp we need not to speak (shame about the shrimp that has not earned) What tasted good, the pasta with chanterelles were. The dessert was Genial good (mentally Apricot Peach Tiramisu with berry soup). The service staff was just great and very attentive.

Finally after the corona break we could stop here again. However, the price increases of over 50% were very sobering. Example in front of Corona for small schnitzel, chips and salad from the buffet for 11 €. Delicious, you got full and price performance was right. Now for the same dish a whopping € 16.50. There is now only a really small salad in advance, you no longer get full and pay over 60% more if you add the VAT reduction (12%). The cola in front of Corona just under 3 euros, now 3.50 euros. It is understandable that the prices will be increased slightly after Corona, but it is so extreme that one considers whether another visit will follow.

A journey through time into the last millennium! - The dishes discussed in advance registration and arrangement were not available. - no vegetarian dishes on the menu - A single vegetable dish was then offered: at € 19, the rather small portion of rösti with some vegetables was definitely too expensive. Especially when you consider that a vegetable dish (in times of the climate crisis) should not be significantly more expensive than a dish with animal products. - Wrong dishes and drinks were posted on the till, just because it happens to cost the same. - very good taste, - Unfortunately the staff was not attentive, but friendly. Picked up food today. Venison schnitzel and sour liver, both delicious. The food was still hot and still had the perfect cooking point despite a 10min drive. A heartfelt thank you . A good time and see you soon

Atmosphere very good. The food, especially the dessert, could have been better. The expectations were very high considering the prices and awards.
